Generally, 200 series materials are used indoors, 304 materials are used outdoors, and 316 or above materials are generally used in acid-base areas or coastal areas.
2. When selecting steel pipes, it must be determined that the material meets the standard. Take 304 material as an example: A. from the perspective of price, if 304 stainless steel plate is even lower than the common price of 301 material on the market, it should be carefully identified, and it is likely that other materials pretend to be; b. Identify whether the steel seal material “304” is printed on the pipe surface, and ask for the manufacturer’s quality certificate as a certificate; c. It can be tested with acid reagent. After 30 seconds, the material 304 will not change color, and 201 will turn black; d. Samples can be taken for mass purchase and sent to the national authoritative testing center for component testing.
3. Observe whether the color of the outer surface and the inner wall of the pipe is bright and smooth, whether the thickness is uniform or rough. Generally, there is no need to inspect the welded pipe. However, the seamless steel pipe is produced by cold drawing or hot rolling. Improper operation in the production process is likely to cause uneven thickness and cracks on the pipe surface. However, the rough surface is generally that the seamless pipe is not polished. If there are no special requirements on the appearance, it will not affect the use.
4. Excellent products evaluated by the Bureau of quality and technical supervision shall be selected. It is the most direct and effective purchase method to have long-term use witness and good reputation among customers.
5. The inner double skin, pitting and rolling green line often appear in the rolled pipe. Generally, these can not be avoided, and basically do not affect the use. However, it is necessary to select as few as possible when purchasing, especially to check the inner surface.
